Mace. - Watch TVBiography
Mace. is a music project born in 2011 from the collaboration of Enrico Cesaro and Andrea Maso, two experimental music producers based in Padua. Their first ep “Antennas to hell” was released in summer 2011, and it had positive reviews from several online magazines. As in this first work they focused on giving a voice to their beliefs concerning political and social topics, rooting from dark trip-hop to industrial.
Still, now with the ep “Watch tv” they’re shifting to a more pure electronic sound introducing a larger use of synths in their tracks. Though their signature dark atmosphere remains a fundamental feature in both eps.
Atmosphere that in “Watch tv”, is a mean to heavily criticize the impact of mass communication on the people’s brain. The ep end with a re-work of “Dirge” originally by Death in Vegas.
